In Level Design
The overall level design creates a single-line yet not monotonous exploration rhythm that remains free despite guidance through vertical space climbing and height difference jumping, as well as horizontal space hiding and branch puzzles. This enables players to maintain thinking and response in a tense emotional atmosphere, continuously advancing their understanding and breakthroughs in this world constructed by emotions.
Multi-layer sandwich design in a single-line path
The levels adopt a single main storyline structure, ensuring that players do not lose their way in an emotionally distorted world through linear advancement, while emphasizing rhythm control and immersive experience during the process. Although the main line is simple, the internal structure of its path is enriched through a "multi-layer sandwich" spatial layout, usually designed in an upper and lower superposition manner - for example, the lower layer is a stealth passage, the middle layer is a puzzle trigger area, and the upper layer is a high-risk but high-reward parkour shortcut. During the passage, players can choose different levels based on the enemy's movements, emotional states or the progress of solving puzzles, thus creating an experience of single-line advancement and multi-level decision-making.
Stealth
In the stealth section, the enemy will conduct irregular patrols in specific areas based on emotional fluctuations. Players need to find safe Windows from their behavioral rhythms. To enhance the strategic aspect, a large number of concealments combined with the emotional mechanism are arranged in the scene, which can temporarily obscure or weaken the enemy's perception. Meanwhile, the changes in light and environmental sound effects jointly construct a dynamic perception system, guiding players to choose the stealth path or wait for the right moment according to the environmental prompts.
